Meet the team
• Nice to see you •
Hello, my name is Lucy and I am the salon owner/manager at My Skin Boutique.
I have been in the beauty and aesthetic industry for over 14 years now and have worked with many different brands which have allowed me to gain a wealth of knowledge about various techniques and technologies. This continuous training I’ve had over the years has given me the insight into what I believe works best in my clinic and what will give my clients the best results.
Education is so important to me which is why you will often hear of us attending various courses to continue to give the best advice. Anyone who meets me will soon come to understand how much passion I have for all things skin and beauty and my main goal is to give my clients the best service and advice possible.
I look forward to meeting you soon
Hi, I’m Sophie,
I have been in the beauty and aesthetics industry for over 10 years now and have been very fortunate to work with some fantastic brands.
I began my beauty career working in a salon covering all of the basics and specialising in skincare. This particular element of the job I really enjoyed as I found it incredibly rewarding being able to educate people about their skin and what they should and shouldn’t be doing.
As well as being a skincare specialist I was also the only lash technician working in the salon, again this is another area I relish in, yes it’s fiddly and time-consuming but the end result speaks for its self and I couldn’t be happier than when I’m transforming tired eyes to lash perfection!
I look forward to seeing you soon x
Semi-permanent makeup artist at My Skin Boutique
For the past 12 years I have worked as a Freelance Makeup Artist. I have been lucky enough that my work has taken me to all different parts of the globe. I regularly work on Magazine Shoots, Commercials and on TV.
I have worked with various Celebrities including, Caprice, Jonathan Ross, Sophie Anderton and Luisa Zissman to name a few.
I have always been a people’s person and consider no job too big or too small. With my vast experience and great eye for detail, I hope you feel I am The Permanent Makeup Artist for you.
What is Permanent Make up?
Permanent Makeup is a form of tattooing that gives a natural to more defined/dramatic look depending on what the client wishes to be achieved.
It is permanent, but does fade over time. Unlike traditional tattoos, it only penetrates the top layers of the skin so it is advised to top up every year – 18 months to refresh the colour.
Hygiene and safety is paramount and the highest safety standards are always followed. Sterile ‘single use’ needles and high quality pharmaceutical grade pigments are used. A patch test is also carried out before the day of the treatment. Topical anaesthetic is also used and most clients say they feel no discomfort.
It is a great treatment for all ages, busy lifestyles, sporty types and perfect for that beach holiday when wearing and applying makeup is an inconvenience.

Hi, my name is Eimear.
I am lucky enough to have been in the beauty industry for the last six years. After qualifying I set sail & worked on cruise ships for four years. I started my cruise ship career as a skin specialist performing up to ten facials every single day. This is where my passion for all things skin began! I was then lucky enough to move up to management for my last two years onboard learning all aspects of the beauty industry.
After returning to Ireland I was brought in to manage a relatively young salon in my hometown of cork, which allowed me to continue pursuing my love for all things skincare & beauty, along with my passion for teaching, sharing knowledge and making sure we’re were continuously performing 5 star services.
I then made the decision to cross the pond & am now lucky enough to be working along side some of the best here at My Skin Boutique and can’t wait to meet you all!
