We have some changes happening here at My Skin Boutique. You may have seen our new look 'Magazine' style Newsletter and we now have a blog too.
We're also expanding and are waiting for a new treatment room to be finished, which is super exciting.
Plus, we have some amazing new 'results led' treatments too.
My Skin Treatments New for 2020, we are delighted to introduce 'Faissage'. Can you guess what it is?
The Faissage is a 1hr 15min treatment with a mix of facial and massage blended throughout and is the ultimate in relaxation.
This 'whole body and face treatment' is an ideal way to kick start the New Year and get rid of the build-up of toxins in the body, and regenerate skin cells for a more even and radiant complexion.

My Skin Tips
Why does our skin suffer from inflammation, dryness, and dehydration over Christmas and during the winter months?
Festive drinking and lots of sugar can make for visible signs of overindulgence on our skin. Lack of water and late nights don’t help either.
What can we do to help? Our skin will repair and regenerate itself at night time, therefore more sleep and better quality sleep will start to reverse the effects of those late nights that have built up.
So to help you unwind in the evening, try for no blue light for at least an hour before bed, that means no phones, tablets, tv or computer screens (ah - the irony as I type the notes for this at 11pm).
Try and set a cut off time and try and stick to it.
All the highly rich foods we’ve consumed over the festive period can cause an imbalance in our hormone levels which can lead to unwanted breakouts on the skin for weeks after. Try and make at least 2-3 meals a week vegetarian or as ‘clean’ as possible, as more veggies will get your blood sugar levels normalising once again.
Win with water! Try and drink at least 2 litres of water a day, more if you having caffeinated drinks.
